Cullinan mining town developed around the premier Diamond Mine, where many turn -of-century houses still stand. The mine has produced some of the world’s most famous diamonds, including the greatest star of Africa. Diamonds can be purchased on site. Surface tours are the norm while underground tours can be arranged on request. Tour times are specific & not flexible. Surface Tours - 5 hours Underground Tours - 7 hours No kids under 16 years old. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES PRIOR TO YOUR TOUR BECAUSE EVERYBODY ENTERING THE MINE MUST GO THROUGH A BREATHALYSER AND PERSONS WITH POSITIVE READINGS WON'T BE ALLOWED ON THE MINE. It is compulsory to wear closed shoes/canvas shoes when participating in the surface tour.
